Bollywood Babe Bonds With Daniel Craig?

Jennifer Aniston is not having a good week.

Just days after telling a magazine she'd love to step into the shoes of Ursula Andress and Halle Berry as a Bond girl comes word that Slumdog Millionaire star Freida Pinto is the front runner to trade double entendres with franchise star Daniel Craig. The rising star has reportedly been asked to audition for the next 007 movie.

Coming on the heels of getting dumped by Lonely Hearts Club playboy John Mayer, this latest blow might just send the newly single former Friends' star to bed with a pint of Häagen-Dazs.

Since Slumdog snagged eight Oscars, Frieda has become Hollywood's hottest property.  She first caught producers' attention during casting for Quantum of Solace but executive producer Barbara Broccoli felt “She was too young at the time to have a part as a love interest for a secret agent.

She adds,“But she has blossomed into an incredibly stunning young woman and would look perfect on Daniel Craig’s arm."  Yeah, like she was such a hag before (insert eye roll here).

Of course, it also helps that Slumdog director Danny Boyle is the favorite to take the helm of the next Bond movie.  Since Freida reportedly dumped her fiancee for fame, the title of the next "shaken, not stirred" martini flick could be "Diamonds Are Forever Until Something WAY Better Comes Along."

But as Jen cries in the dark surrounded by old pictures of Brad Pitt and Marley & Me movie posters, she can take comfort in the fact that Denise Richards went from playing a Bond girl (Dr. Christmas Jones, remember?  She sported an improbable pair of hot pants and glasses to convince us that she wasn't a complete airhead, but marrying Charlie Sheen pretty much made suspending belief impossible) to a canceled reality show and is now dancing for money to pay her bills on Dancing with the Stars.   

Or she could try to adopt Freida and snag some of Angelina Jolie's mojo.
