Laugh-A-Minute Valkyrie Opens Christmas Day

There were no bombshells or bizarre meltdowns yesterday as Tom Cruise did a series of TV appearances in Toronto to promote Valkyrie, which opens on Christmas Day in the heart of Oscar Derby season.

With a brand new Hitler project to promote, Tom Cruise, has been offering the media unprecedented access. Would Tom like to weigh in on the Heidi-Spencer elopement to MTV Cutie-Pie Dan Levy? He's in, most enthusastically. Most recently, he's been availing himself to the Canadian press, answering questions on topics from the personal ("Is Katie a snorer?") to the mundane ("What's your favorite single on 2008 Canadian Idol winner Theo Tams's new CD?") during a Valkyrie PR tour of Toronto. It seems, however, that somewhere between the MTV Canada, Access Hollywood North, and Extra: Canadian Edition! studios, Tom has misplaced his Blackberry:

Tom Cruise has lost his BlackBerry, National Post columnist Shinan Govani reports. After Cruise did a full-hour interview with "Entertainment Tonight Canada," his people called the studio asking if anyone had found the gadget. "A search was done, but, nada," Govani said. "So, basically, someone in Toronto has Top Gun's crackberry."
