Christian Bale Deserves Some Kind Of Reward . . .  An Oscar, A Lifetime Free Pass To Drop F-Bombs With Impunity, SOMETHING

altHahahahahaha!

Giggle, giggle, snort.

Not since the waxed pecs and Tropicana SPF 69 volleyball scene in Top Gun have we laughed so hard.

What's tickled our funny bone so, you ask?

Well, if you watched American Psycho and thought Patrick Bateman's skin -crawling smirk and crazy eyes seemed strangely familiar, it's because Christian Bale used crazed maniacal lunatic Tommy Cruise as the inspiration for the role of the crazed maniacal lunatic serial killer.

Reportedly no couches were hurt during filming.

This might be the greatest thing you read all day, because if anything has ever made more perfect sense in your life, someone needs to let us know.

Mary Harron, the director of American Psycho, told BlackBook Magazine about how she developed the character of Patrick Bateman with Christian Bale, "It was definitely a process. We talked a lot, but he was in L.A. and I was in New York. We didn’t actually meet in person a lot, just talked on the phone.

We talked about how Martian-like Patrick Bateman was, how he was looking at the world like somebody from another planet, watching what people did and trying to work out the right way to behave. And then one day he called me and he had been watching Tom Cruise on David Letterman, and he just had this very intense friendliness with nothing behind the eyes, and he was really taken with this energy."

Cue Tommy screaming to Christian, "You and me are f--king done professionally!"

Tommy Girl hasn't contacted Harron yet to slip on one of Katie's robo collars on her because he's waiting to get his "100% not gay" skin suit back from the cleaners. The "My Pretty Princess" tranny one is just for lounging around the house with the pool
boy.

*Puts on tin foil suit* . . . You know, just in case.

We fear the wrath of Xenu.
