The Back-Up Plan vs. The Baster

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to WOMAN.ca fight night! 

In the left corner, Jennifer "Don't Call Me J-Lo" Lopez, whose ego is the only thing bigger than her infamous derriere. 

And in the right, Jennifer Aniston, reigning queen of middling romantic comedies that are just too masochistically titled to be ironic. Or funny.

The prize:  Starring in two of the dumbest sounding movies of the year. 

Let's have a clean fight, ladies!

Hollywood tends to the repetitive, but former fly girl Lopez is ready to take Aniston to the mattress at the prospect of her possible plot purloining of a similarly themed artificial insemination romantic comedy.

Both actresses are set to star in films that revolve around single women trying to get pregnant with the help of a titular kitchen gadget as their biological clock ticks away. Aniston is currently shooting (ha!) The Baster, while Lopez is set to star in The Back-Up Plan.

Adding to the maternal movie mix, Gisele Bunchen is set to announce her next film project, "Babies, Babies, Babies!  Mine, Mine, Mine!" 

Lopez, whose music and film career have been on pause while supervising the nanny raising her twins, is said to be "seething" over Aniston's flick as she's hoping her own soon-to-start-production flick will be a boffo come-back vehicle after a string of forgettable flops. 

"The last thing J-Lo [Lopez] wants is to have Aniston overshadow her. There's been some mud-slinging, with J-Lo claiming Jen [Aniston] took her idea," said a source.

Wow, Mrs. Anthony.  Way to make this all about you.  No doubt, Aniston swiped the  baby bump script to mock her own barren womb instead of some Oscar-worthy pages where she goes gay or gets fat just to spite you.

Come on, can't you let poor J.A. pretend to hear the pitter-patter of little feet and imagine what it's like to be Angelina Jolie?

Seriously, this mean girls plot sounds way more entertaining than either implausible sounding mommy-to-be flick.  And frankly, you can see pregnancy plots that are just as ridic on Jerry Springer for free any day of the week.
